Resilience coaching · Toronto & remote

You perform well under pressure.
You recover badly from it.

The stress response that makes you good at your job doesn't switch off when the day ends. I train the part of you that decides how you react before you've had time to think.

What resilience coaching is

A therapist works on the story. A gym works on the muscle. Neither one trains the nervous system, the thing that fires before you've formed a thought and keeps firing long after the meeting is over.

That's the gap I work in. We use controlled doses of physical stress with a clear beginning and a clear end: cold water, breathwork, heat, stillness, time outside without a phone. Your body learns, through repetition, that the alarm passes and you can stay. Then that learning shows up in the boardroom, the inbox, and at home.

It's practical and physical. You don't have to talk about anything you don't want to.

What we train

Three pillars. Every program uses all three; the balance depends on you.

Cold

Wim Hof Method breathwork and cold exposure, built up gradually from a cold shower to a full plunge.

Teaches you the alarm passes.
Ground

Time in nature, slow breathing, and phone-free practice. Short, daily, non-negotiable.

Puts you back in a body and a place.
Heat

Hot yoga and sustained stillness. Long holds, uncomfortable positions, and the choice to stay.

Trains staying with discomfort.

How it works

Eight weeks, one to one, mostly remote. Every program is built around your schedule, your stress pattern, and your starting point. The structure below is the frame; what goes inside it is yours.

  • 1
    Screening and a plan

A short health screen before anything starts. Cold and breathwork have real contraindications, and I don't skip this. Then we build your program together on the first call.

  • 2
Daily practice, 15 to 25 minutes

Cold, breath, movement, stillness, nature. Specific, progressive, and delivered to you every Monday so you never have to decide what to do.

  • 3
    Weekly call with me

45 minutes on video. We look at what happened, adjust the dose, and pick the one thing you're practising this week.

  • 4
    Check-in every Friday

Three minutes to fill in. I read every one and reply before Monday. You're never doing this alone, and you're never waiting a week to be heard.

In Toronto? We can add a half day or full day in person: a real plunge, breathwork on the ice, and a few hours in the woods with your phone off. Optional, and worth it.

What changes

I'll be honest about what the evidence does and doesn't support. Cold exposure and slow breathing reliably shift heart-rate variability and lower the stress hormone response over weeks of practice. Regular time in nature lowers cortisol and rumination. None of it is magic, and none of it replaces sleep, medical care, or a bad situation that needs to change.

What clients tell me, in their words: they stop dreading the hard conversation. They fall asleep faster. They notice the spike before it runs them. They recover from a bad day in an evening instead of a weekend.

This is for you if

  • You're functional, successful, and running hot
  • You want something physical, not another conversation
  • You'll do 20 minutes a day if it's laid out for you
  • You want a person in the loop, not an app

This is not for you if

  • You have a heart condition, epilepsy, or are pregnant (we'll talk about safe alternatives)
  • You're in acute crisis right now
  • You want a quick fix without daily practice

Next step

Book a free 30-minute call. We'll talk about where the pressure shows up for you, whether this is the right fit, and what your eight weeks would look like. No pitch, no pressure, and if it isn't right I'll tell you.
